Wang Tao, also known as Wang Xingyue, is a Chinese actor. He is known for his roles in Your Sensibility My Destiny (2021), Delicacies Destiny (2022), Scent of Time (2023), Story of Kunning Palace (2023) and The Double (2024).

Wang Xingyue was born Wang Tao on March 5, 2002, in Yueyang, Hunan, China. He graduated from the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama. During his college years, he participated in numerous stage plays and auditioned for the anti-drug public welfare project’s film during his sophomore year. He was selected and successfully filmed his first movie. He officially entered showbiz in 2019 with his participation in the anti-drug public welfare film Deep Water, where he played a main role.

On May 31, 2020, he officially signed a contract with Huanyu Entertainment. The same year, he appeared in the drama You Complete Me. In 2021, he appeared in the television dramas One and Only and Your Sensibility My Destiny.

In 2022, Wang played lead role of Crown prince Zhu Shoukui in the historical fiction drama Delicacies Destiny. The series became the first original Chinese-language series on the Disney+ streaming platform.

In 2023, Wang gained increased attention and popularity for his role as Zhong Xiwu in the romantic web drama Scent of Time, based on Qi Yueli’s novel “The Female Supporting Role” (洗铅华).
