Suhasini Maniratnam is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu films. She has worked as an actress in Malayalam and Kannada films. She made her debut in Nenjathai Killathe (1980). Suhasini won National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Sindhu Bhairavi (1985).
Suhasini's paternal cousins Anu Hasan, Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan have also since become actors.
Suhasini attended the Municipal Elementary School in Paramakudi, before moving to Madras aged 12 to live with her uncle Kamal Haasan and her grandmother.
