Sohini Guha Roy

Sohini Guha Roy is an Indian actress and model primarily known for her work in Bengali television. Born on July 19 in Kolkata, West Bengal, she pursued her education locally before entering the entertainment industry. Sohini made her debut in 2020 with the Bengali TV serial Nari Tumi Durga and quickly gained popularity for her roles in shows like Resham Jhapi and Mayurpankhi. She is best known for playing the lead role of Tayra Roy in Gangaram. She began her career in 2016 and has since gained recognition for her performances. She holds an MBA from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India and completed her undergraduate studies at Loreto College, Kolkata. For her early education, she attended St. Mary's High School in Coochbehar, where she studied from LKG to IV. In addition to television, Sohini has also appeared in Bengali films, including her 2023 debut in Sada Ronger Prithibi and Abar Kanchanjungha. She is married to businessman Kallol Chowdhury, and they tied the knot in February 2021​
