Kim Min-jun, better known by his stage name Jun. K, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, dancer and actor. He is the main vocalist of 2PM.

The older of two sons, Jun. K was born and raised in Daegu, South Korea. He enjoyed music and composing since his middle school days and dreamed of becoming a singer. Initially his parents had been against it but changed their minds after he entered the Dongseongno Festival (동성로축제) as a high school freshman and won prizes.

He originally auditioned for YG Entertainment and first met G-Dragon and Taeyang of BigBang, both of whom remain his close friends. He was accepted into both YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, choosing to join the latter and moving to Seoul in 2004. Alongside former member Junbeom, he was the 2PM member who had the longest training period and had his debut cancelled several times before being chosen to participate in the survival program Hot Blooded Men.
