Amalia Nuril Aqmarina, better known as Amel Carla, is an Indonesian actress, singer and model who began her career as a child actress.
Amel Carla was born Amalia Nuril Aqmarina on 21 July 2001 in Bontang, East Kalimantan, as the youngest of three children of Qomaruzzaman (b. 1962) and Oktarina Aqmarina. She has an older brother, Ahmad Dekatama (b. 1994), a lawyer, and an older sister, Isnania Nurlintang Aqmarina (b. 1996), a singer. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at University of Indonesia in Depok, West Java in 2023.Amel Carla appeared in the comedy soap opera Suami-suami Takut Istri from 2007 until 2010. She made her film debut in Suami-Suami Takut Istri the Movie (2008). She published a song which was written by her sister, Isnania.
