Deblina Chatterjee is an Indian actress known for her work in both film and television. She began her career in 2010 with her debut in the Bengali feature film Ami Aadu (2011), directed by Somnath Gupta. The movie gained critical acclaim and won the 58th National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali. This film marked her entry into the acting industry. Chatterjee made her television debut in 2012 with the Star Plus show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, where she played the role of Aaliya Hassan. She later appeared in various popular television series, including Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Gayatri Goenka (2018-2019), Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman (2015–2017) where she portrayed multiple characters like Sita, Rukmini, and Kali, and Vighnaharta Ganesh (2020) as Goddess Lakshmi and Sita. Throughout her career, Chatterjee has displayed versatility by taking on diverse roles across genres, particularly in mythological and family dramas. She continues to work actively in the industry, with recent projects like Rakshabandhan... Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal (2022) and Karmadhikari Shanidev (2023-2024).
She started her career in the performing industry in 2010, after being cast as Aadu in the Bengali feature Ami Aadu (2011), marking her film and acting debut. The movie was directed by Somnath Gupta and was screened at the 2011 IFFI (International Film Festival of India). It went on to win the 58th National Film Award for the Best Feature Film in Bengali.
In 2012, she made her television debut in the Star Plus show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein as Aaliya Hassan. She also played Gayatri (Gayu) in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus from December 2018 to May 2019 and quit the show as she doesn't want to age.
